2023 UofM PAT showcase

LiveCoding performance by ChucK. 
Using OSC from ChucK streams data and captures the screen through OBS, and finally designs live visuals in TouchDesigner. 

"s/ø" embodies the interplay between subjectivity and objectivity within the realm of LiveCoding—a form of programming that, on the surface, appears rational and objective. However, this very process carries an emotional and performative essence for the individual involved.

The duality of subject and object is intricately woven into the fabric of LiveCoding. On one hand, there's the objectivity of code—an algorithmic language governed by rules and syntax, designed to execute specific tasks. On the other hand, there's the subjectivity of the coder—their emotions, intentions, and individuality infused into the lines of code they create.
