Inspired by New York’s Times Square, we have crafted an immersive 360-degree video experience where users are surrounded by a plethora of billboards. Utilizing Blender, we built a unique world view that encapsulates this vision. The soundtrack, performed with traditional Chinese instruments, originally comes from Japanese singer Yonezu Kenshi’s song “Lemon.” Therefore, we integrated numerous Japanese-style billboards and posters related to the singer and the song, rendered with LED-like effects. Additionally, we included cubes and spheres with a sci-fi aesthetic to symbolize a digital city.
To enhance the educational aspect, we added labels for the instruments within the video, enabling the audience to easily identify the interactive elements.
Our UI design, characterized by minimalism and modernity, is clearly visible even in dark environments. Users can press a button on the handle to toggle the interactive panel, allowing for intuitive and straightforward control. In terms of functionality, we developed a simple mixer that lets users solo, mute, and adjust volume sliders, providing a comprehensive concert experience.
